When I first started, I didn’t come from a background in hair. In fact, I’m a registered nurse! I didn’t have years of salon experience, but what I did have was a take-charge, figure-it-out attitude. I’ve always been the kind of person who’s on a mission, willing to learn and determined to succeed. And guess what? You don’t need a background in hair to do this either!
I wasn’t always confident when I started offering fairy hair. There were moments of doubt, mistakes, and days when I wondered if I was making the right choice. But I didn’t give up, and over time, I mastered the technique—and not just that, I built a business that brought me more clients than I could’ve imagined, along with renewed confidence and passion.
I’m telling you this because I know how easy it is to feel like you have to be perfect or worry that you need to have some special qualifications to succeed. But that’s simply not true. Fairy hair is for anyone who has the determination to learn, the willingness to keep going, and the heart to make their clients feel amazing.

I know it’s tempting to aim for perfection right away, but that’s not how growth happens. It’s about showing up, learning from each appointment, and improving over time. You don’t need to be perfect—you just need to be willing to keep going, even when things don’t turn out perfectly.
